Passionate words on a screen

Talking late into the night sharing our dreams

Can’t believe how fast a guy can fall

Funny how we read between the lines
Fill in the silences inventions of the mind
The women in my office are tickled pink
Sent me off with fundies sex dice and feathers
Then we met and you weren’t who you seemed
Who I’d dreamed

The tiger in the zoo is just like me and you
Wild and caged no future to look forward to

Back at home I’m not talking the rest of my life
Not meeting peoples’ eyes
Yeah it was pretty good I guess
You know these things always take time

You hold all the cards and my heart in your hands
Sometimes I think you’re just looking for an excuse to blame me for the breakdown
You talk too much why do you disappear
Why can’t we be friends I expect more from my friends
Why do you need to share your every feeling just another lying guy

Can’t believe how far a guy can fall

I deleted all your emails when we crashed and burned
