the westt project started off as me and tommaso in high school making all sorts of music for fun. we didn't really have any idea what we were doing and often still don't. now that he lives back home in milan and i'm in nyc, we maybe see each other once a year at best. we planned a whole trip up the west coast fall 2023 and stopped in vancouver to hang with friend. we ended up making this idea on the couch of our airbnb. originally the idea was 156 bpm, but we ended up slowing it down. i'm so happy to include a westt track on the album with my longest collaborator and brother.
