I couldn't be more proud to share this project "How to Say Goodbye" with you all. I made this mix with my incredible friend DJ Ramen. He really captivated the exact emotions I wanted to convey, and really helped make this mix come to life. I know how difficult goodbyes can be. Sometimes the hardest goodbyes are the ones that we never think we will need to say. Whether it's a person you miss, something you lost, or a battle that's finally ended, I hope this mix helps to ease the burden of your most difficult goodbyes. Sorry for all the delays!! Don't hate me pweese! 
This mix really went through so many changes since I started making it. Partly because I really wanted to express how I was currently feeling at the time and experiment a little. It goes to show that life is full of surprises; you have your highs and lows and sometimes the really lows, but you gotta make whats best of it. Song selection was super important to me this time around and I hope you guys can feel that emotion.

Well, I dug deep to capture the 3 emotions you experienced in the following days, weeks, months, or years:

ANGER — because they showed you that you weren’t good enough for them to stay.
SADNESS — because you started to BELIEVE that you weren’t good enough for them to stay.
HOPE — because despite how decisively things ended (closure or not), you still felt that they hadn’t.

It doesn’t matter if it was a 6 year relationship, 1 year relationship, or short fling — heartbreak is real and cannot be trivialized by a measure of time. Your emotions are valid. The fact that you became so invested shows that you’re a caring person who deserves more.

So if you miss someone who once meant (or still means) a lot to you, this mix is for you.

I hope you can heal. I like to think that they Got Away for a reason… which shows that perhaps they weren’t actually The One. Better people and experiences are on their way :)

Sometimes in life, we go through hardships.  We struggle, we cry, and we put ourselves down for the smallest things.  Blinded by anguish, we fail the see the beautiful things in life.  We lose the ability to love others due to the inability to love ourselves.

This mix tells the story of a person experiencing these exact things.  After losing love, they are forced to re evaluate their entire outlook on life.  They start off in a sad state, but are slowly able to get out of the hole that they had dug for themselves for such a long time.  By learning to love themself again, they are able to finally understand what it means to love another person with open arms.  They are once again able to find true happiness in life.

I plan to start giving the backstory to all my mixes in order to connect with all of you a bit more!  Thank you all for listening to my mixes!  From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️
