This song was written 2 years after the passing of my 14 year old niece. She was killed in a car accident and I stumbled across a blog she wrote about her missing her grandmother who had passed away 8 months earlier. I feel like this song can be interpreted many ways. Loss of a loved one. Loss of love...something we all go through in life.
