This project definitely sounds like Coldplay, and let's confess it straight away, I wrote it with Chris Martin's voice in my head. It came out like this, so naturally, and it was so obvious, that I couldn't do anything else. The lead singer melody is fully finished (hidden in this track). After all, I think this is the song Paradise from Mylo Xyloto which inspired me (I think, I'm not so sure in fact...). Hey, first time I got my voice on a track, for backing vocals... Needed a lot of effects, but no autotune, I promise! ;)

Never Let You Go (Song Project)

This projet is a song about someone who got dumped by his girlfriend at 1:00 in the morning. He is so shocked that he feels he just went into a car crash.... The lead singer melody is done, but the lyrics are not finished yet. This song needs a rock singer, a bit like De Palmas. I wrote this music about 12 years ago, kept it in my head all that long,  and now it's finally out! Very exciting!! :)

1:00am demo with lyrics

This song was written in Nov 2021 during a composition challenge, in a limited time (4 hours). At this time, it was obviously a very small part of it, blurred in reverb, not mixed and sung in only one shot. 
After some digging and mixing, I'm pleased to show you here the entire song. As usual, my voice is not supposed to be definitive here. I just want to show the intention. Any collaboration proposal with a singer is welcome.

A travers ce morceau, je souhaitais rendre hommage à la musique et l'univers d'Indochine qui a jalonné toute ma vie musicale. Bien que tout à fait originale, cette chanson s'inspire de l'un de leurs titres que je préfère, Salômbo en version piano sur l'album "Nuits Intimes".
Je remercie mon ami Xavier Inbona, qui a accepté de la chanter magnifiquement pour donner vie à cette composition, me permettant de vous la présenter aujourd'hui.
Pour ceux qui reconnaissent et apprécient le style "Indo" de cette chanson, sachez qu'une version plus rock est à l'étude! ;)

There's something very intimate in this song, I think it's melancholy which comes out from the melody. I used a lot of delays on the pianos, which evokes a dreamy mood. I composed the melody in 2003 on a Korg Triton Extreme. It was only 8 measures at this time, and all the basics where already set. However it sounded just sooo bad.... I kept it this way all this time, and decided only 2 months ago that it might be worth producing it with my DAW. So I wrote the words, asked my girlfriend to do the backing and here we go... There are still some improvements to make, but the result is very close to the way I always wanted it.

I'm a self-made composer keen to share my music with you all. Always been passionate with music writing, using my inspirations from Depeche Mode, Mike Oldfield, Radiohead, REM, Muse, Coldplay, Indochine, Peter Gabriel, Placebo and so many more......
