Music is my passion it paid bills for me as well made me somebody in this crazy world we lived in. “You’re only as good as your rep! “ a phrase from the movie X. I guess I started in 1982 but didn’t really get into the dj game til 1984-85 but when I did I tried to play everywhere w/ everyone! I learned & watched a lot paying dues as they was called. My first DJ crew I belonged to was The Beat Master productions crew. One of the first crew from the west side of Chicago that had a club (The Phuture) to throw parties in!!!! The year was 1984-85! Many known Dj played there in their infancy. Between 85-86 I bounced around playing with other Dj’s all over but it wasn’t til the 90’s my career took off! I played my first club in 1990 (Club 800) from their my career took off if I wasn’t a resident I was asked to play as a guess. By mid 90’s me & my right hand man in this DJ game was the one and only Dee Jay X Ray. We played everywhere! Taking over each spot, club, lounge , tavern around!!! Chicago was our land to play and play we did… later I got into making tracks thru my other crew member (my bad I’m a member of GETO DJS Inc. joined in 95) once I started making tracks it completed my journey I’ll be posting my track soon for review hope yall like them.
