Brazilian artist Tjor makes a momentous debut on Wrong Era with his EP ‘Turbo Lover’. Bringing his energetic percussion and fizzing synth arps to a new realm in the title track, a solid tone is set from the start. Tjor’s intelligent fusion of EBM and New Beat can be heard in the dark, stormy ‘The Run’ amongst ghostly, rhythmic vocals.

‘Eternal affair’ blends Italo Disco’s arpeggios with hints of the glistening flare of west coast electro. Vocals and synth lines combine to create an atmosphere that perfectly matches the track’s title. The rising brilliance of ‘Midnight’ keeps in line with the EP’s forward-thinking energy with infectious Hi-RG synth stabs and driving low-end. ‘Corsa Romantica’ swells you into an elusive dusk setting with a powerful, swirling melody that ties the faultless elements together. Machinegewehr tells a tale of interstellar love with his third EP for Bordello A Parigi, The Cordyceps. Four glimmering works make up this star crossed story of electro disco. The listener is wrapped in warmth from the outset with the sweetened vocals and clean synths of the title piece. “Shivergold”, with its lush pads and arpeggios, pulls you to the floor before the pulsating grooves of “Knight 634” take hold. JUNO REVIEW: First making his name via production work for Swayzak, more recently Bologna, Italy resident Francecso Brini has stepped out as an artist in his own right under the 'Frank Agrario' moniker. Here, he comes to Tom Tom Disco with a four-track EP that's a melting pot of dancefloor and world music influences. 'Nefro' is a looping, percussive workout with Egyptian/Middle Eastern overtones, 'Kalakutta' is an Afro-style deep houser with jazz tinges, 'Tapwater' is a mellower groove, again with an African feel, and then finally Leonor brings us an epic, remix of 'Kalakutta' complete with broody synths and cinematic spoken vocal.

It's been a tough year for everyone, especially for the electronic music and artists in general,  however, Madrid's Logical Records have seized this opportunity to bring  audiences something special and make important changes for the future.
