Give yourself up to the dance...

The Long Night, Burning Seed Fundraiser - I had the honour of playing straight after a Solstice ritual at midnight for the rebirth of the sun, bringing in the New Year. A ritual that that called on the four watchtowers for protection and wakes the Earth Mother from her winter slumber after the longest night of the year. The Goddess became the great mother again and the Sun God returned to bring new light and hope to all. <3

After a bit of a rocky start due to technical glitches, it was such a beautiful moment, playing my very first set at Burning Seed and very fittingly for the opening ceremony of an incredible art piece representing the Divine Feminine. Through a series of epic synchronicities that started last year at Burning Seed , I was invited to play at Papania, a brand new theme camp from Sydney. The crew that created Papania could not have been more welcoming and each and every one of them has left the biggest imprint on my heart <3 Thank you so much for having me guys, it was such an honour to play your first ever party at Seed. You should be so incredibly proud of Papania, you absolutely NAILED IT!!!! And a BIG thank you to my friend John-Henry who I bumped into a couple hours before my set and brought his Sax along, I just love the magic that happens at Seed :)

Searsha is an Irish born, Melbourne based DJ currently making waves in the underground electronic music scene. Opening Babylon, one of the most established music camps on the paddock, after the Man burned on Saturday night was a pretty special honour for me this year at Seed :) It was down to me to set the tone for the night, so there was no time to p**s about! Luckily, within what seemed like minutes the dome was full and I got to kick start what was THE most incredible night with THE most beautiful vibe :) It was such a privilege to get to play alongside my Wildwood brothers Karl, Ekbalu Clemente, Pat & Dean, a night that will live on in my heart forever :) <3 xxx

I wanted to record a set for Sarah & Yes Queen as unfortunately, during the early stages of my career I was affected by workplace bullying, and so can really relate to and have a lot of compassion for those who have and continue to suffer. Music with intention behind it can be such a powerful healer. 

I also wanted to appreciate and acknowledge just how much of her beautiful heart & soul, Sarah has and will continue to put into this extremely valuable "Revolution of Kindness in the workplace". 
Yes Queen embodies a person - an ambitious trailblazer who is kind, compassionate and supportive of others.", Urban dictionary defines Yas(Yes) Queen as, “anything applause-worthy, fierce". These are only a few of the adjectives I would use to describe it's founder Sarah Fritz. I would like to add passionate, positive, powerful, inspirational, caring, nurturing, funny, intelligent, considerate, courageous, you get the idea, she is a QUEEN in her own right :)

YES Queen

Quitting my job and heading overseas for 6 months to work on Ableton production was probably the wisest decision I have ever made! I am beyond grateful for the incredible people I met and the beautiful experiences I shared :)

Returning Home

This years Burn was by far the best yet for me. Every year it just gets better & better, so much love & magic everywhere I went :) And to top it off I got to make my debut on the CPL art car after the Effigy burn, and into the New Moon!! I decided to bring out my inner warrior, and thought some techno could be in order to keep everyone's blood pumping on a chilly night. So much love & gratitude to my CPL family.

Lockdown

Manifesting thoughts, emotions and feelings while being stuck and cemented in isolation has negatively impacted almost everybody in the world over the last 6 months in one way or another. A rollercoaster of emotions both the good and the bad have been seen. I have tried to create this set to resemble those feelings with a mixture of dark deep techno mixed with some funkier lighter melodies to represent the highs and lows of our wavering feelings since the COVID-19 outbreak.
