Lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer, known for his work as the singer and bassist of Poolside and The Rapture. For Safer, Lovetempo has been a way to fuse saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Following a run of well-received releases on Brooklyn tastemakers Razor-N-Tape and toucan sounds, Lovetempo now brings TSTD this special edit of his cover of Anita Baker’s “Same Ole Love (365 Days a Year),”. The track features New York nightlife icon Prince Terrence on vocals, bringing his signature touch to a timeless classic. Originally self-released in 2023, Lovetempo has extended and dubbed out their original version, transforming it into a hypnotic slow-disco groove that feels as cool and effortless as a summer breeze. Expect warm falsetto floating over the most laid-back, organic disco-bossa rhythms. Tasting notes: perfect for brunches, poolside parties, getting ready for a night out, or winding down after the club with a chilled Loire Valley red, this track is a stylish, feel-good essential for any occasion. The original was TSTD’s favorite track of 2024, there was only one problem... it wasn’t long enough! So please enjoy this delightfully extended, slightly dubbed version.

Angus and Alex are the friends and bandmates behind Goodvibes Sound. Despite only starting to create music together in 2019 the two released their debut album “The Institute” in 2022 – a blend of upbeat discofied soul, indie doused in a heavy dose of psychedelic vibes. Inspired by 1970s California, hot tubs and beach bars, Goodvibes Sound craft groovy psych-pop tunes with a disco twist. A simple yet powerful way to place your subconscious mind in direct contact with the ‘universal vibe-o-sphere’, if you like. The duo are really interested in mindfulness and presence, and how to live in the moment, given all the distractions of modernity around us. Moi Je, en realité, is the Lyon-based L. De Lassablière. He is finally back with a new EP – ’Reviens’ – that’s more disco and funk than ever. He and a select bunch of close collaborators have crafted this new release with the act of dancing firmly in their sights. The essence of the Moi Je project is still there, with its French electronic influences blended with the warmth of Italian summer sunburns. It’s a signature, poetic sound that has evolved over years of experimentation and practice, now here in glorious high-fidelity. There’s a playfulness too, with lyrics and music combining in fresh new ways. His biggest success so far is his beautiful, warm, disco-ified remix of “On You” from 2016 for fellow Frenchman Kazy Lambist, which earned him a gold disc! are two Desert Disco and Outlaw House DJs pioneering the great electronic wilder-ness.
With boots firmly planted in dusty 70s sunsets, their productions take cosmic country funk and classic rock to dancefloors via modern disco and baggy acid house on a bed of hefty contemporary rhythms.

JACK TENNIS: 
Berlin producer Jack Tennis is the mastermind behind a lot of projects. He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. The 4 tracks on this compilation are regular floor fillers in DJ Supermarkt’s DJ Sets, so it was time to give them a proper vinyl release. Lots more to come!

MONSIEUR VAN PRATT: 
founder of Super Spicy Records, is a prominent producer and DJ originally from Mexico City, whose influence on electronic music is widely recognized both nationally and internationally. With an impressive career that includes more than 100 releases in digital format and 26 on vinyl, which consolidate him as a key figure in the genre.

Consisting almost entirely of their own reworks – always with a slab of unreleased edits kept back for their own exclusive live use – FMB have found their DJ sets to be a hit among party people all over.

BowAsWell (Beijing) 
BowAsWell is the recording project of producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Yichi Zhang. Born and raised in Mainz, Germany, Yichi grew up listening to R&B and hiphop from his sister’s iPod, and started playing guitar and writing songs in his bedroom after returning to China. He studied experimental art at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, but soon discovered that his true passion lay in music. Under the influence of musicians like Mac Demarco, Bibio and Tame Impala, he fell in love with this DIY aesthetic, bought some analogue synths and outboard gear, built his own home studio, and started making music under the name BowAsWell in 2018. He releases through the prolific French “Delicieuse Musique” label. His inspirations are brilliantly varied, from 70s library music all the way to disco and synthpop. The track was one of our musical highlights of 2024, so we had to include it here. ‘Over when the night is gone’ proves our enduring belief: that being a white soul boy is simply a state of mind!
