Over the languorous course of 33 years and 16 albums, Michael Franks has mesmerized an international legion of fans with his one-of-a-kind artistry. Seamlessly weaving lyrics of stunning sensuality, wit, reflection and literary eloquence over music that tastefully utilizes top shelf shadings of jazz, soul, pop, chamber and music from around the globe. His music was covered by countless international stars, like The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Star, Natalie Cole, a.m.m. . His music lives on and is loved by so many modern Balearic/Soft Disco musicians/producers from today.

FLYING MOJITO BROS: 
are two Desert Disco and Outlaw House DJs pioneering the great electronic wilder-ness.
With boots firmly planted in dusty 70s sunsets, their productions take cosmic country funk and classic rock to dancefloors via modern disco and baggy acid house on a bed of hefty contemporary rhythms.
Think the first summer of love meeting the second – Crosby, Stills and Nash at the Haçienda, The Doors at Paradise Garage, The Chemical Brothers at Woodstock.
While the remix masses continue to pick over the bones of soul, funk and disco for novel sample material, these cosmic cowboys look uniquely to the vast catalogs of artists such as Santana, ZZ Top, the Eagles and their present day counterparts for inspiration.
Consisting almost entirely of their own reworks – always with a slab of unreleased edits kept back for their own exclusive live use – FMB have found their DJ sets to be a hit among party people all over.
Their music and trippy visuals have turned dancers loose in clubs, parties and late-night festival tents at Glas-tonbury, Stagecoach, Pikes Ibiza, Mondegreen, Bonnaroo and beyond.
In addition to residencies at The Social, Spiritland and Nobu, they’ve worked their hoodoo on remixes for the likes of Tony Joe White, Scott Hirsch, Katy J Pearson, Jeffrey Silverstein, James Alexander Bright, Little Boots, Gloria Ann Taylor and more – releasing on prestigious independent labels such as Heavenly, Paper Record-ings, !K7 and Ubiquity.
Flying Mojito Bros have seen millions of streams worldwide and are witnessing a mushrooming US fanbase, recently being invited to DJ at events for Diplo, Phish and Pretty Lights.

BowAsWell (Beijing) 
BowAsWell is the recording project of producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Yichi Zhang. Born and raised in Mainz, Germany, Yichi grew up listening to R&B and hiphop from his sister’s iPod, and started playing guitar and writing songs in his bedroom after returning to China. He studied experimental art at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, but soon discovered that his true passion lay in music. Under the influence of musicians like Mac Demarco, Bibio and Tame Impala, he fell in love with this DIY aesthetic, bought some analogue synths and outboard gear, built his own home studio, and started making music under the name BowAsWell in 2018. He releases through the prolific French “Delicieuse Musique” label. His inspirations are brilliantly varied, from 70s library music all the way to disco and synthpop. The track was one of our musical highlights of 2024, so we had to include it here. ‘Over when the night is gone’ proves our enduring belief: that being a white soul boy is simply a state of mind!
