Rich Boy Junkie's "We're Gonna Be Fine" comes from acknowledging the monotony that exists in our lives and how it can sometimes make us feel like we're drowning or betraying ourselves. It's a call to action to embrace your ability to reconnect with fun and excitement within your life and realize that despite being stuck in a rut (or being quarantined inside), we will overcome and we will be fine.

Sonically, this is self-described as "the most optimistic song Rich Boy Junkie ever written". Departing from the 80's influenced reverb, synthesizer, and LinnDrum focused The Happy Face, RBJ transitions into a more acoustic-sounding and clean feel to prepare for what could be a fresh and doe-eyed look at Summer 2020.
