This is my adaptation of the popular song from the Rankin and Bass production, "The Year Without a Santa Claus." Rather than having two separate songs, as in the TV show, I have combined them to feature both the Heat Miser and Snow Miser in the same song. I also put in a little bit of playful verbal warfare between the two characters to make the song into a truly epic Christmas battle.

Halloween Fever

On January 6th, 2021, I watched with mouth agape as an angry mob of Americans stormed Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Days earlier I had just finished writing and recording this song. I suddenly realized how fitting the song was as social commentary, so I put together a video with some hard-hitting images to support the fact that we are all tired of the social unrest. Rich has 20 years experience in the music industry as a solo artist and with his band Half-Hour Late.
