In the immortal words of Tony, Toni, Toné, “It’s our anniversary”. A year ago today, on January 6th, 2021 there was a failed coup that took place on the Capital building. This song is not a response to that event or the sub-humans involved. This song is me talkin’ DAT SHIT. These days not too many rappers (mainstream or otherwise) talk DAT SHIT. I talk DAT SHIT over a danceable beat that even a woman of the pole could get down to. I talk DAT SHIT in the tradition of Public Enemy. Consider this the start of my bangin’ on the system on digital run.
  
    I told myself that I’d drop this talk last December 2021, but my baby bro took a while with the mastering of the track (he’s a music artist too, goes by the name of Skrizzy). So coincidentally January 6 was coming up and with perfect timing you have “ENTER THE TRUMPOCRACY”. That’s what’s going on right now. Hence the title. We can never go back from an attempted coup, especially one where it’s participants and planners suffered no substantive consequences. It changed everything (not that the violence was something new). It emboldened soft dicks, and dry pussies alike. “They” will try again, maybe even be successful the next time, huh?

My nephew Calvin, my daughter Erin, and I listened to the first day of storytelling from grandfather Trujillo. He told how he witnessed General Douglas MacArthur sign the Instrument of Surrender in Tokyo Bay on the deck of the U.S.S. Missouri which formally ended WWII at 9:08am on September 2,1945. "After the two official Japanese representatives, Foreign Minister Mamoru Shigemitsu and General Yoshijiro Umezu, signed both copies of the Instrument of Surrender. MacArthur signed as Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers."
