Next up on Saved Records is a release that we have been super excited to share with you, and one that label boss Nic Fanciulli has been hammering in every set. We welcome RETNA to the family who teams up with Nic to deliver their brand-new collaborative single, ‘This Is Life’. Although fairly early on in his career with his first release surfacing in 2019, RETNA has gone on to release on some of the most respected labels in the industry including Toolroom, Mr. Carter, Virago Records & Toolroom Trax alongside his own label BOTAR Records and has received support from established artists including Adam Beyer, Skream, Carlo Lio, De La Swing, Ida Engberg, Huxley and more. ‘This Is Life’ showcases RETNA’s distinctive raw and intrusive dancefloor sound with hypnotic vocal chants and a grooving bassline combined with Nic Fanciulli’s Afro drums, rave-inspired synths, thundering kicks, and a rumbling low end throughout. Tamango Records' upcoming reference comes from young enfant-prodige Nathan Alzon: if we are to speak of rising talents, he's definitely one to look out for. The French-Taiwanese artist lands on the label for the first time with the classy and sleek 'Heartbreaker' EP, which follows previous releases on NO ART, What NxT, and Deeperfect. On the remix side, we welcome Spaniard revelation Rendher, who provides one of his gloomy, rolling numbers.

The EP kicks off with 'Heartbreaker', a lush deep-house piece filled with full-bodied grooves, silk pads, and a catchy female vocal that will resonate throughout your body. To follow, 'Bandicoot' offers a steady funky bassline above which Nathan can display a great synergy of dubby echoing stabs and powerful drums, all flooded with an old school classy touch.

Up next, 'Nuns In Heels' lies on the B-side offering solid kicks and delicate chords accompanied by jazzy trumpets and graceful vocal chops. Closing the EP, Barcelona-based groover Rendher heads to stripped-back territories, twisting the original into a heads-down hammering tune. His remix features tight harsh grooves and booming bass tones, providing an essential late-night pumping jam.
