Valencia’s Días de Campo Records welcomes Hessa for his debut on the label -  and the result is as confident as it is contagious. The 2Vilas co-founder and mastermind behind the sought-after vinyl-only edit series Get A Life and label COSMOS opens his new four-tracker “Funky Talks” with “What’s This Shaker” - a no-nonsense, groove-heavy weapon that instantly demands attention.

From the first bar, it’s clear Hessa knows exactly how to handle tension and repetition. The bassline hits with muscular precision - round, propulsive, and full of that kinetic bounce that makes hips move before the brain catches up. Layered atop are the kind of filtered vocals only the most confident producers can pull off: the sassy, diva-esque fragments, the “in the air” whispers - all orbiting the loop like satellites, teasing familiarity without ever giving too much away.

There’s a hypnotic simplicity to it - that classic trick of turning minimal elements into something massive through pure groove science. The track loops, morphs, evolves - each bass variation tightening the grip, each drop stretching the dancefloor’s collective patience in the best way possible. It’s that magic spot between functional and flamboyant, where the rawness of house meets the sleek discipline of the studio.

“What’s This Shaker” is pure dancefloor engineering - reduced yet rich, playful yet powerful. The kind of track that DJs use to reset the room and dancers use to lose themselves in the loop. It’s Hessa in his element - classy, groovy, and fully in control.

Solid Grooves has built a strong following of loyal fans over the years. Starting out as an event series, the London based brand has since achieved global success including a prevalent Ibiza residency last year. Launching as a label in 2015, it wasn’t long before Solid Grooves Records topped Beatport’s overall charts with Wade’s remix of Dennis Cruz ‘See Line’ and cemented its reputation as an infallible imprint, releasing music from names such as Kuo Climax, ONNO, David Pher and Brett Gould.

Dennis Cruz leads the way with ‘Fake’, a vocal focused track with throbbing bass, chopped up samples and infectious percussive components before Franz Costa’s ‘Kate’ blends a medley of intricate rhythmic elements for a trippy low-slung production.

The label co-founders are up next, with Michael Bibi unleashing a roaring low-end in ‘Devil’s Candy’ whilst a spoken word sample operates through, making way for PAWSA’s ‘Taking Over’ – an atmospheric house track geared for powerful subs featuring dub inspired stabs and sharp hats. Reelow then concludes the package, demonstrating his signature style with a cacophony of percussion and mesmerizing effects.
