Ben Nicky, Greg Downey and Christian Burns' 'Always' receives a classic trance rework from Richie Blacker, out now alongside Greg's own uplifting trance club mix.

Released in January 2022, ‘Always’ was first heard during Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 450 set in London. It marked the debut collaboration between established producers Ben Nicky and Greg Downey, and vocalist Christian Burns. 

A global ambassador for the fastest, toughest styles of modern dance music, Ben Nicky's touring schedule is as relentless as his sets, which slide seamlessly from vocal euphoria to industrial hardstyle and psychedelic trance. Releasing music since 2009, you can find Ben on labels like Ultra, Mad Decent DimMak, Armada and Spinnin’ and in the record bags of MistaJam (BBC R1), Timmy Trumpet, Andrew Rayel, Armin van Buuren, Diplo.

Greg Downey is the owner of the ‘Skullduggery’ imprint, and has been releasing music since 2007, getting nods from Vandit, Spinnin’ Records, Kearnage, Who’s Afraid of 138 and FSOE. Christian Burns is a multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter who has collaborated with Tiesto, BT, Armin van Buuren, Benny Benassi and Anjunadeep’s Jody Wisternoff on 2020’s ‘The Spark’.

Richie Blacker made his Anjunadeep debut with ‘2 Late 4 Love’ in 2021. With releases on Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint and Skream’s Of Unsound Mind label, Richie’s robust productions have garnered support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Pete Tong, and producers including Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and Dee Montero.

A 1-hour set of progressive and melodic breaks containing a mixture of old and new tracks with, hopefully, a few surprises. My aim was to take the listener on a journey beginning with dramatic, bass-driven sounds and ending on a more melodic, euphoric note.

Just as comfortable connecting with crowds at large-scale raves, festivals and intimate clubs, Blacker takes listeners through every unpredictable twist and turn a set can take  as he is a versatile artist who floats through the realms of this electronic underworld we call house & techno, and the emotionally-charged feeling he creates along the way with his music. 
He has fine ability to fuse together techno, rave, italo disco and melodic house undertones in his DJ sets and productions.
No signs of slowing down anytime soon, Richie is a skyrocketing talent to keep an eye on.
