A musical arrangement of a traditional Libation Ceremony, in which the traditional priest will summon the ancestral spirits to bless or sanctify a gathering.

Portable's Khoikhoi label presents Design Default, a Parisian ambient artist and co-founder of the Geipan events in Paris. 

The “A Quiet Spring EP” continues the ambient narrative established on his debut album, ''Dawn Chorus'' that was released on Fragil Musique in 2018. 

The title track teases the palette with an air of anticipation of what is yet to come. 

“A Quiet Spring” leads into "I'm Running in Circles'' where a sense of rotational motion conjures up the image of a serpent's head meeting its tail in the listener’s mind.

"Attentes" - French for expectations, perfectly describes the 4’ 38” min spent mesmerised in this looped algorithmic world. This track pulls you into your inner cosmos, only releasing you at its closing minute.

" Kohtakt " accelerates into a frenetic acid-like post club track that could easily fit into the more adventurous DJ sets as an opener, builder or bridge. 

The finale track of the EP is “Temporal Bliss” whose panning strings glow like filaments pulling us back into ourselves and onto this waking life.
