- This collaboration between longtime collaborators Gregor Tresher & Sven Väth marks debuts on Turbo for both artists. Rarity Score: 9.2. Real world equivalent: an honest man in Washington, DC.

- Gregor brought the groove, while Väth performs vocals on both tracks, which is rare AND special. Rarity Score: 9.7. Real world equivalent: NFT of “Tiga’s Comet”.

Vril's progression from the early Giegling run of numbered EPs to last year’s considerably more intense 1-2 of Torus and Vortekz made perfect sense: the faceless producer came out the other side of dubby club fare into more intense, bleak terrain. 2014’s breakout year was capped by his ferocious teardown at our Dystopian showcase; replete with rushing, quasi-Resident Evil visuals, it was a masterwork - easily one of our Best of 2014.

Incredibly, Delsin actually chose to sign on Vril for a sophomore LP on the strength of his Boiler Room set, citing the "energy of some tracks and the crowd's reaction, which was really good." First debuted on our screens, “Portal 7” is everything you could want in a techno track. Pistons pump, steam valves release and tectonic plates shift underfoot - in short, it's a total ripper. Big Bells Records proudly celebrates a milestone with its 100th release – Reincarnation, a Progressive House journey crafted by German producer Monuloku, with a stellar remix by label favorite Chris M.

Reincarnation marks Monuloku's debut on Big Bells Records, but his musical story runs deep. Behind the Monuloku project is Sven Seib, a veteran producer from Darmstadt, Germany, whose career began in 1995 with Trance productions that found airplay on the renowned German station Sunshine Live. Over the years, Sven's sonic identity evolved — from the hypnotic drive of Trance to the refined grooves of Minimal, Deep, and Progressive House — resulting in the creation of Monuloku.

On Reincarnation, Monuloku delivers a rich, atmospheric Progressive House experience — lush textures, deep basslines, and a hypnotic melodic flow that invites both dancefloor movement and introspective listening. The original is complemented by a remix from Chris M, the Indonesian-born, progressive craftsman whose previous Big Bells releases have established him as a label mainstay. Chris M reimagines the track with his signature deep progressive touch, layering warm harmonics and subtle rhythmic shifts for a captivating late-night interpretation.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

“Released in the early 90s, the original Jack Master EP was a pseudo-name that I used to record fun classic Chicago inspired tracks that were made for my DJ sets.  SLAM’s new updated take on the original, uses the original voice sample (that’s actually mine) and reworks the track into a full throttle stomping jack track perfect for todays dance floors!” - Richie Hawtin.

Token mainstay Inigo Kennedy had no fewer than three collaborative tracks on Momentum, the 3LP release put together to celebrate 10 years of the label’s output. As Token’s first ever releasing artist and now long recognised as an integral contributor to its distinctive sound, Kennedy continues to offer his part in shaping the label’s identity. 
 TOKEN79 feels conceptually complete as a record: The similarities between the tracks are almost as striking as their individual qualities. Each piece is titled in reference to planetary layers, each presenting another piece of the same world. 
 On the A-side is Magma, with a lead that’s refreshingly candid in its tenderness, soaked in reverb and sprawling with variations that gradually increase in complexity, carried by subharmonic pads it diffuses into the mix. Mantle is more percussion focused. Much of its movement is dictated by a pitch-bent woodiness that meanders in stereo while the composition rumbles on and opens up to a crescendo that’s powerful, yet measured in a way that’s characteristic of Kennedy’s control.
