Subonation of Perjury is the latest in the series of heart wreching Techno releases from Dubiosity for Planet Rhythm. Like always, this release is heavily concentrated on touching synth's and growing melodies that might leave the listener in a euphoric gaze. It's Dubiosity's signature to combine dark and intense techno rhythms with layers of melodic goodness. Throughout the whole EP this style is present. Elysian Fields is the darkest cut of them all but also here a vivid choir comes through to mellow things down. Pjotr G and Dubiosity join forces for a remix of Remy Kruyer's ''Ho Chi Minh'' on the B2.

Beginning as a passion for the harder shades of techno music, Quail [ Animal Farm ] was born into the Glasgow clubbing scene 14 years ago. 
The now established clubbing institution found its big break by hosting their very first Sub Club event in 2009, booking a then little-known artist on a Monday night, Ben Klock. This inaugural event was a wild success, which laid the groundwork for a steady succession of events catapulting the Animal Farm brand into the global techno limelight, booking acts such as Rodhad, Kobosil, Cleric, Blawan, DVS1 Function, Marcell Dettmann, and Dax J, just to name a few from their extensive archive of past performers. 
At the helm of this wild success has been Quail, who has supported swathes of the global techno elite, and more than carved out his own space as a respected DJ in his home city and much further afield.

Sawlin's debut EP on Delsin off shoot Ann Aimee went down so well it only made sense to have him craft another. 'Eviment' is that EP, made up of three more deep and subterranean techno cuts that play with plenty of textures.

Title track 'Eviment' is a tortured and paranoid offering that has a nagging vocal stretched out over splashy claps and a foreboding bottom end thud. It's vast and dark, spare and haunting where 'Kretze' is a bigger and bolder track. The analogue percussion and serrated lines all sound old and aged as they mark out a scraping, dystopian vision of a world well away from here.

'Sour Tear' has a more syncopated, techno-funk groove but is still padded out with plenty of dubby undercurrents. Sawlin's percussion sounds are wholly non standard, from clanking metal to twanging strings, everything sounds like a real world sound, which makes his music as arresting as anyone's, despite being made firmly for the techno backroom.
