"Speaker Damage" is comprised of DJ's SP1 & Pharoah. Both have been heavily involved in the underground dance scene for decades. Every recording By Speaker Damage is done using 4 decks and is a spontaneous invention.  Neither DJ has any preconceived tracks or direction in mind. This is the reasoning behind the name "Musical Mandala". Much like the Tibetan Monks who spend years painstakingly making intricate mandala's by dropping small streams of different colored sand from their hands, only to wipe the canvas clean the moment they finish, SP1 & Pharoah use the music they have gathered over decades to create these special mixes. Each mix is only played once and it is a true spontaneous invention, never to be played again but recorded for prosperity's sake.
