Yeyo Pérez & George Palmer meets Bass Culture Players - Dub Schooling EP

Dojo label strikes back with a powerful EP discharge. Dub Schooling is Bass Culture Players forceful return, where Puppa Shan revisits Junior Delgado "Dub School". Another sample of this factory’s determined sound, such as that found in Temple Riddim.

Two of the most talented singjays in the schoolyard succesfully face Bass Culture Players high voltage. An energetic dose of tension and delivery.
Yeyo Pérez uses his muscular beat in 'Music a Go Heal', an absolute dancecrasher. Another proof of this artist’s indisputable lingual versatility, jumping from spanish to english and form colloquial to political. 

George Palmer counteracts on the other side, with his fluctuating and calmed style.  Accelerating here, slowing down there. Giving what only some can give: the feeling of a rhythm fitting to his lyrics, and not the opposite.  

If the contrast between both singers is one of the remarks, Puppa Shan polishes this release to the limit in both 'Healing Dub' and 'Dub a Dub Style', dry and sharp the former, and evanescent the latter.

Cohesion and contrast. Two musical qualities that will be enjoyed in this interplay of musical pairs sealed at Discoinferno, Digital Dub School from Madrid!

"Nytto Dread meets Bass Culture Players" nace de la mano de Santi Mijarra aka Puppa Shan (MAD) en el ritmo, y Nytto Dread (BCN) en las lírica. 

Reggae roots 100% en castellano y producido en la península, desde Discoinferno Studio. 

Con la participación de músicos e instrumentistas de bandas como Hotdrop, Emeterians, Forward Ever Band, Kinky Coocoo's y otros muchos participantes de la escena estatal, está inspirado en la época dorada del reggae jamaicano y británico de los 70's y 80's. En él encontramos ritmos pesados, vivos y rudos acompañados de líricas afiladas y directas de contenido social y espiritual. 

En formato showcase, este disco está compuesto por 5 cortes vocales, 5 dubs y una "extended version", como guiño a la cultura soundsystem, vienen envueltos en un colorista y fresco artwork que nos evoca al cartelismo afro-caribeño y a sus barberias únicas realizado por Lidiuska.

“Nytto Dread meets Bass Culture Players” is the fruit of a collaboration between Santi Mijarra (Madrid) providing backing tracks and Nytto Dread (Barcelona) on vocal and lyrics . 

Roots reggae music exclusively sung in spanish and produced in the peninsula at Disco Inferno Studios . 

The release features musicians and instrumentalists from bands such as Hotdrop , Emeterians, Forward Ever Band, Kinky Coocoo's as well as many others from the Spanish scene . It's main influence comes from the golden age of Jamaican and British reggae from the 70s and 80s. Rough , scathing , lively backing tracks that feature sharp , up-front lyrics that deal with social as well as spiritual themes. 

Released in a "showcase " format , this record carries five vocal versions , five dub versions and one "extended mix" as a tribute to the sound system culture . All of this being packaged and designed by Lidiuska in a fresh , colored style that brings to mind the afro-carribean tones and the unique barber shop imagery.

Le Dawood Sound System, actuellement basé en Indre est composé de 4 potes ayant entamé leur aventure commune il y a plus de 3 ans. 

Le projet a débuté avec très peu d'enceintes, mais dès le départ, ils avaient à coeur de partager leurs propres productions durant les soirées qu'ils organisaient, accompagnés de leur chanteur, Mc Mondoshawan, également producteur. Dawood, de par le dynamisme et la motivation de ses troupes a su attirer tout types d'individus dans leur univers autour de la musique dub mais pas seulement. Leurs événements sont ouverts à d'autres styles et cultures, rassemblant un public toujours plus large, amateurs de bonnes musiques.
 Leur Sound System a beaucoup évolué et ils possèdent aujourd'hui 4 scoops. Ils se baladent avec celui ci tant en ville que dans les campagnes profondes pour diffuser leur musique et leur énergie. 
Ils sont influencés par de nombreux styles de musique, allant du reggae, du roots, au stepper Uk et français, ainsi que par le hip hop, la musique électronique, les musiques traditionnelles d'ici et d'ailleurs dont ils s'inspirent pour leurs productions.
Soutenu par d'autres sound system locaux avec qui ils ont régulièrement partagé la scène, 

Dawood Sound sortent leur premier EP, accompagné des remixs de plusieurs dubmakers !

The Dawood Sound System, currently based in Indre (France) is composed of 4 friends who started their common adventure more than 3 years ago.

The project began with very few speakers, but from the start, they wanted to share their own productions during the dances they organized, accompanied by their singer, Mc Mondoshawan, also producer. Dawood, thank's the dynamism and motivation of his troops, has attracted all kind of people in their world, around dub music but not only. Their events are open to other styles and cultures, bringing together an ever wider audience, lovers of good music.

Their Sound System has evolved a lot and they now own 4 scoops. They travel with this one both in town and in the deep countryside to spread their music and energy.
They are influenced by many styles of music, from reggae and roots to UK and French stepper, as well as hip hop, electronic music, traditional music from here and there, which they use as inspiration for their productions.

Supported by other local sound systems with which they regularly share the stage, Dawood Sound released their first EP, Da First Sample, accompanied by remixes of several dubmakers!

Tetra Hydro K est le nom d’un laboratoire secret dirigé par le Docteur Kanay et le Docteur Krilong.
Leurs recherches se concentrent sur la combinaison d’éléments organiques (instruments musicaux en live) dans un univers électronique.
Quand les spécialistes se sont penchés sur ces mélanges, il se sont arraché les cheveux pour les définir :
Est-ce électronique ? Acoustique ? Dub ? Drum & Bass ? Pourquoi on ne peut pas s’arrêter de danser ?
Les résultats de ces réactions chimiques, comme vous pouvez l’entendre avec l’EP « basse équitable » sont étonnants et stupéfiants !
Le duo est bien entendu sorti de son labo pour pratiquer leurs expérimentations en live où le public les a acclamés.
Alors n’attendez pas plus longtemps pour prélever quelques unes de ces substances audio pour vos oreilles !

 

Tetra Hydro K is the name of a laboratory based in a secret location, run by Doctors Kanay and Krilong.
Their research concentrates on experimenting with organic elements (live musical instruments) in a computer-generated environment.
When testing these musical concoctions, specialists have been left scratching their heads with unanswered questions:
Is it electronic? Acoustic? Dub? Dubstep? Drum and Bass? Why can’t I stop dancing?
The results of these chemical reactions, as you can you can hear for yourselves with the « Basse équitable » EP, are astounding.
The duo have also been venturing out of their lab and practicing live experiments in public, to great acclaim.
So wait no longer and sample some of the audio substances for yourself !
