She is currently based in Vancouver, BC where we recently had an opportunity to chat in the BSide Radio Studio. I have always enjoyed her sets when I get the chance to see her perform live as a Bass Coast staple! With 20 years on the decks, you can trust that she knows how to steer the dancefloor with laser precision! 

"Junglist since I was 16, I have to admit that D’n’B hasn’t been something I can claim a lot of experience in. So, for this mix I was really excited to explore. After scouring the internet to pinpoint my style – something that would bring some of the darker vibes of d’n’b and all the rudeness of jungle. Well, genre reveal? She’s a minimalist jump up queen (lol). 
I had fun on a sun dampled afternoon recording this mix, and I hope it makes you screwface skank too.

A local festival highlight from last year, This Gathering 2020 was scheduled for late-June but cancelled due to Covid so I'm sharing this recording from 2019 now with <3 to all who make This such a great intimate event - here's looking forward to This 2021!

Music context: After a week of heavy rains the skies cleared and the forest floor of Mt. Elphinstone erupted in dance! This set was a bridge between @MichaelRed's preceding polyrhythmic techno/bass hypnosis, and @PachaPapa's psychedelic footwork frenzy that followed— so the journey begins climbing from 110-130bpm through techno, bass and afrobeats into the dnb/footwork/halftime canopy ending around 160bpm. Genre-fluid selections surveying a loose axis of complementary sonic sensibilities from Canada, USA, UK, Germany, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa:
