My first music lessons began in 3rd grade on alto saxophone, and I subsequently taught myself how to play guitar and  bass guitar which led to playing in bands from the age of 16.  Ever since I have actively enjoyed entertaining others with music both in groups and solo.  I even had a special performance on The Gong Show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nZEdxlY8RY).

During the last 21 years I  have played more than 400 hundred times with the band Captains of Leisure.  I have also recorded 3 CDs as lead vocalist with the Indie band Go With Me.  Recordings of me singing with both bands are included here.

As a very active solo entertainer, my repertoire features many well-known songs (and a few one-hit wonders) of popular classic rock, yacht rock, and soft rock recording artists.

Serving as a music minister for my church, I also play music for local assisted-living residents as well as in a prison ministry program.
