A remix of the one second clip above, stretched out by fifty times, any patterned sounds and harmonics pulled out with stochastic leftovers removed, manipulated some more to make a half dozen versions, and then layered a bunch of ways to put it back together. I hope nobody is offended.  I found it amazing all the sound buried in the whirlwind.

Sound collage of March through Waikiki on Jan. 28, 2024 supporting a ceasefire in Palestine. BTW: when Israel is not saying that "From the River to the Sea" is Palestine's calling for genocide against Jewish people, the Israeli hard right responsible for the ethnic cleansing, total war, genocidal destruction of Gaza to clear the way for settlers from Israel is using it to argue for Israel's total control of the region in a one-state solution.  My understanding of the Palestinian use of the phrase has always been that it means a one-state solution where Israelis and Palestinians share power and have equal Rights from the river to the sea, where Palestine is free, not an open air prison camp.  I am sure there are extremists who have different ideas of things, but to paint a whole population as holding a view because the extremist wing believes something extreme is a distortion on the level of equating all Jewish people with hard-right Zionism.  Except the hard right Zionists are actually carrying it out.  And cries of defense when you are "winning" the death game 26,000 to 1300 or so (as of yesterday, and Israel has confirmed that the Palestinian numbers are about right), a 20 to 1 advantage, is hardly defense if it ever even was.

FREE PALESTINE

Sound collage of the 2010 Todos Somos Arizona action taking overa full day and into the evening if you count bail and release blocking out  a corner of downtown LA with 8 activists lying in the intersection chained together.  This is more or less a narrative of the events, which you can follow along by keeping an eye on the timeline for the comments as they pop up. Todos Somos Arizona was a coalition of Los Angeles activists who came together to support the repeal of Arizona SB1070 anti immigrant law. Most of the law ended up repealed in the courts though some parts still stand.
