StillDreamin Live Set (5 - 28 - 15)

Set Recording (3-4pm) from Splash Island - End of Summer party (Konected/Stilldream). I had a blast throwing down some daytime housey vibes, with a good contrast of darker/high energy feels and straight up summer happiness. As always, live and on-the-spot, so you won't get absolute perfection here, but you will get real-human love and energy throughout! 

Afternoon Delight Mix (Splash Island 10.04.2015 Set Recording)

I've always found emotions to be a bit difficult to express in words, so this mix was pretty cathartic for me. It represents the whirlwind of thoughts and emotions that surge through your body when the universe throws an unthinkable curveball your way: Anger and sorrow, confusion and clarity, denial and acceptance, and finally, after some time, hope. That weird weight you feel in your chest that is so hard to describe is represented in this mix by the ever-present palpitating bass lines. While I am not totally happy with a few of the transitions, the 'moods' that come through couldn't be a better representation of what I was feeling when I mixed this. I really let the insides come out on this mix, so take a peek under the hood...

I moved into a new house, so I figured it was a good time for a new house mix. Lots of nudisco vibes for most of it, though it definitely wanders (like most of my stuff). Mixed on the fly, just playing around with some of the newer house chines i've collected. Turned out decent, so decided to share it with you guys. Enjoy!

Figured it is about time to let this one out of the bag. Set recording from Stilldream Music Festival, 2017. Played at 5pm on the Forest Stage. Starts with some trappy vibes, then transitions to some super fun Ghetto Funk summer vibes at about 17 minutes into the mix. Unedited, and recorded live, so embrace the imperfections.

This mix has a couple major flaws, but the vibe is so dope I had to share it, no fucks given. That's the reason I do this thing, after all.

This ones a deep house, love story.  Starts out around 122 BPM, escalates up to flirt with 128 bpm, and then tapers back down to 120 bpm.  I had alot of fun recording this one, and it really tells a story if you listen.  Fictional mostly, but its a page-turner if you ask me.  Unedited and recorded in one continuous mix as always. Rich Resey's "A Deep Love"

This set is meant to be imagined as a soundtrack to a Zombie movie, in which a virus infects a small group of revelers celebrating a funky party in the mountains near Lake Tahoe, California (the sight of Zombpocalypse 2012) and turns them into blood hungry, mindless, agile zombies.  From here the small horde takes out toward more populous areas, where citizens are enjoying their everyday lives, not knowing a zombie horde is fast approaching, set on death and carnage.  The camera pans ahead to peaceful, serene, ordinary scenes, that are shortly ripped to shreds by Electro loving zombies.  There are moments of bravery, moments of human triumph, and moments of hope.... All shortlived, as the horde grows and grows, feeding on every living being in sight. ZombpocaMix : A score to a Zombie Apocalypse (LIVE set Zombpocalypse 10/13/12)

This came up on a playlist the other day, and I realized I had never released it into the wild. This was a super fun even I was fortunate enough to play in Santa Cruz with my friend Zipse, back in 2016. It took place at a bar that hadn't had a ton of exposure to electronic music yet, and I was asked if I had any music to ease their normal 'classic rock' crowd into our late-night electronic event. I think I delivered. You be the judge.
