This song is about displeasure with Hip Hop. It’s so watered down, rappers make wack songs get attention and treat it as a money grab. It’s rinse and repeat at this point, hardware is going to reset and restore balance within the genre. My dad produced Sucker MC’s in 1983, I’ve always wanted to make a revolutionary song like he did, finally it’s here. I’m pretty proud of myself because I know my plaque is coming and history is being made. It’s going Platinum for sure. It’s funny because if you listen closely, hardware is a diss track similar to Sucker MC’s the basis is “I’m better than all you rappers and here’s why”
