I appreciate you giving me the time I needed to grow, experiment, and find the direction for my 2nd album.. And I have.
Along the way I’ve recorded at least 4 albums worth of material, lots of it being unfinished demo versions waiting to be polished up, some of them are great songs and important stories that just won’t make the album (either they don’t fit Sonically, don’t fit Theme, or there’s just not enough space) .

Tonight, I want to give you a few of these songs because you deserve them. It’s hard as fuck for me to keep all this music from you for so long, so I know it’s been hard for you to wait. Thank you for your patience. Vibe out to these songs in their raw form, no polish.. just a lot of my soul..

I Was Born Dayion Traeshawn Smith May 11th, 1992 In Aurora Illinois. No Pop In Sight, Just My Mom. She Was Addicted To Crack Cocaine When She Had Me And The Same With My Other Brothers And Sisters. We Were Taken Away From Her And Split Up In All Directions. I Was Alone And Sent To Live With My Aunt And Cousins On The East Side Of Aurora. I Can Still Rememer Crying Being Forcefully Pulled Out Of Th...e Cop Car. I Stayed There And Was Soon Taken Away Again. All I Can Say, Is That It Wasnt Fair There..

I Was Sent To Batavia At The Age Of 5 To Live With My Other Aunt And Reunite With My Younger Sister, And Another Cousin Of Mine Who Was Also Adopted And Soon Became My Brother. We All Lived With My Aunt And Uncle's 3 Kids Also. I Was The Oldest Of The Adopted Kids. I Can Remember Not Having Anything In Common With My "New Parents". I Remember How Hard It Was To Call Them Mom And Dad. I Remember Them Changing My Name. I Didnt Feel Loved, I Felt Lonely And Pissed Off At My Birth Mom And The Dad Who Was Never There. I Carried Angry Dark Feelings In My Heart Disguised By A Smile From Kindergarted Up To High School. I Dealt With All My Close Friends Moving Away From Me, Trouble, Acceptance, And Just Looking To Be Loved.

I Hit High School Completely Alone. Just Me, (Whoever I Was At The Time) And My Music.

I Always Loved Music And Had Been Writing Lyrics Since I Was 9 Years Old. My Parents Would Find My Rhyme Books And laugh And Tell Me Keep Dreaming. No Matter What They Said I Was Already Addicted To The Rapper Lifestyle And I Knew I Could Do It If I Set My Mind To It. My Biggest Influences Were 2pac, Eminem, Kanye West, T.I. Biggie, Nas, And Lupe Fiasco. I Didnt Actually Start Telling People I Rapped Till About Junior Year. I Had A Group Called "The Black Delegation" And Made Our First Mixtape Called "Everyday Life". We Released It, Created A Buzz Throughout Schools And Thats When I Knew Thats What I Wanted To Do.

Then My Gramma Passed 6 Months Before Graduation, The Closest Thing I Had 2 A Moms. Not 2 Mention When It All Ended, High School That Is, My "Friends" Left Me, My Girls Left Me, And I Was Broke. I Slipped Into Depression, Heavy Smokin, 40 Ounces Everynight And Vicodin. I Wuz Havin Trouble Soul Searching. I Was Torn Between 2 Families. My Adopted Side, Disciplined And Different And My Birth Side, No Rules But More Like Me. My Gramma Was In Charge Of Them And When She Passed I Felt I Had 2 Step Up 2 Help My Less Fortunate Side After 18 Years Of Not living Together. So After A Heated Argument With My Folks, I Packed My Shit And Left. 

It Wasnt Easy And I Displayed It All. Cuz Thats Wut I Do. Ima Give You All Or Nothin', Just Know Its The Truth. Youve Seen Me At My Weakest And Most Vulnerable And Some Even Kicked Me When I Was Down. Seemed Like All My Past Was Comin Back 2 Haunt Me. My Trust Issues And Extreme Paranoia Got Worse And My Moms Was In And Out Of The Hospital Every Month, And Looked Like My Grammpa Was Barely Hangin On. I Was Sensitive, Alone And Couldnt Tell You Where I Wuz Mentally. I Quit My 4 Year Job And Was Facing Unwanted Attention, Rumors, Allegations, And Felt Like A Town Had Turned Against Me. I Was Being Ridiculed And Judged By Everyone I Knew. I Suffered A Real, Embarassing, Public Downfall And Left To Sugar Grove To Get Away From Everything And Everyone. At That Moment My Spirit And Dreams Died. 

Two Months Later I Came Back To Batavia, Still A Little Unstable And Hurt, But My Creativity Had Came Back To Me And I Started Recording Music Again. I Quit Smoking And Drinking For A While And Kept To Myself To Get Back On Track. I Realized Only God Can Judge Me, And No Matter What People Say About Me, Im Gonna Stay True To Myself And Others. I Ride On Emotions And My Love Cant Be Shut Out. Ill Be Recording Music Till I Die And Hope Everyone Can Follow My Trials And Tribulations Through My Music.

2 The Ones Who Got My Back From The Beginning, And I Know Who You Are, Jus Remember Peace, Love, Trust, Loyalty, Family, Strength And Count Your Blessings. Wether I Make It Or Not... I Wont Forget About You.
