recorded at Roger Corman’s film studio c.1986/7 in Venice, CA.
on a Teac 4-track 1/4 in. “r to r” machine one Saturday morning.
i used a passive DeArmand vol. (heel/toe) tone (side to side) foot 
pedal and a Roland SDE3000 and ART 01A digital reverb (yeah, 
i know). the low sonorities were produced by threading small pieces
of metal between the lower strings and setting the whole mass into
vibration fading up w/ the pedal. the bending was achieved w/the 
Roland set to a very slow mod. rate at shallow depth. also used 
were a piece of beveled glass and a Shure MPE56 golf ball mic. 
i’d purchased at age 15 in Milwaukee, WI. from Zeb Billings Music 
Store.  the title, which you hear me saying over and over with slight
variations refers to something of a rather personal nature which i’m 
not comfortable sharing, as it involves someone besides moi.
