I just completed this track tonight (Aug 8, 2023) after picking up from an idea I started several months ago this year. This is the first song I've written in 3 years (this month) and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. The finished version will be featured on my upcoming album. I still have a ways to go but I've decided that I will start focusing more time on the new release with hopes of completing it much sooner than anticipated. Starman - Only Human [Synthwave] (Free Download)

This is a remix I did for M&tF back in the late 90s that I never received credit for. I spent a LOT of time (6-8 hours a day for one month / track) and $$ (Replacing my computer monitor and studio monitors). I was given several DATs and also the original CD which I used SoundForge to make nearly a hundred edits per track. Though this is something that can easily be done with today's technology, it was quite a feat in the mid 90s.

False Prophets (Jihad Remix)

A little info behind this track. The first 1.5 minutes of the song took me about a week to create (Splicing and editing the DAT version with the original CD version). Combination of learning how to use SF and also the creative aspect.

Bergen producer Cavego releases ‘All The Other Girls’ June 3rd via new Record Label Get Dancy!

Cavego has been a hotly tipped producer the last couple of years. After doing official remixes for the likes of Ultra Records and Eskimo Recordings and scoring hundreds of thousand of plays on his Soundcloud he has been named one of the most promising electronic names from Norwegian key tastemaker NRK P3.

‘All The Other Girls’ is a perfect summer jam that jumps out of the speakers on the first listen and is a prime example of his signature blend of smooth nu-disco and soulful vocals, in this case delivered by fellow Norwegian Leon Frick. The song is a tribute to that special someone that you can’t stop thinking about and that makes the world feel like a better place.

The label Get Dancy has it’s background in the club concept by the same name. This summer the club turns nine years and is one of the longest running and most popular concepts in Norway. Every month they sell out Oslo’s Parkteatret in the hip Grünerløkka area and have one of the city’s best and most euphoric dance floors. Cavego, ‘All The Other Girls’ is their first release as a Record Label with more to come.
