Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme' from Star Wars by John Williams

My latest overdub is of my trombone choir arrangement of the "Throne Room and Closing Titles" by John Williams from the score to Star Wars Episode 4, "A New Hope."

This music truly captures the noble and victorious energy at the end of the film. I richly enjoyed doing this overdub as it readily connects me to my childhood.

This recording is rife with unabashed high Fs, G flats and Gs (listen for the last chord!!) but more importantly, I tried to capture the excited and hopeful spirit of the ending scene of the movie that started it all, "Star Wars Ep.4, A New Hope"

Star Wars Imperial March Vader's Return (John Williams) Cover

Normalized audio track ripped from the Disneyland.com music-only version of the new Star Wars trailer that was posted on their Facebook (which has since been removed).

According to slashfilm.com, this is not newly composed music by John Williams. Instead it is a remix and reworking of mostly previous music, along with some new material created just for the trailer.

It's been confirmed that Frederick Lloyd has contributed music to the latter half of the trailer, namely the “Force Theme,” while John Samuel Hanson of Confidential Music worked on the first half of the trailer music.
