This was my first music composition - done  in 1983 done on 1/4 inch 4 track tape on a Teac 3340S

This is a 2.5 million light year journey to the Andromeda Galaxy.  Along the way an alien energy field attacks the ship, but the shields hold up.  Then the crew enters a very long cryogenic sleep zone before waking up to coordinate the landing on a planet in Andromeda.  They hope to alert other life forms that the Milky Way and Andromeda will collide in about 3.5 billion years to form one larger galaxy.

Track 1 of 9 on Side A of "Live The Dream" -- Published in 1985.  Ricky Starbuster received "Debut of the Year" in Electronic Musician Magazine (then Polyphony) in 1983,   Original cassettes are going for up to $500 as collector's items if they can be had...

Psychedelia

This is my first composition with my then new Prophet 5 synthesizer in 1983.  It is the title track on my first release called "Starburst".  This cassette album is the most collectible of all since there were less sold of these than follow on cassettes.  I hear they are going for up to $2,000 if you can find one.  I will give you a taste of what is on the cassette.  I loved this one the most of course since it was my first composition and near and dear to my heart.   I used a Teac 3340S 1/4 inch tape deck that I made the recording with - and then bounced down to cassette tape using a small gray Teac AX-20 Mix down panel that either made a track right or left in the stereo mix.

Received "Debut of the Year" in Electronic Musician Magazine in 1983 for Starburst album (Starburst composed and recorded in 1983).  Noted as "Part of the history of electronic music"   Was compared to Vangelis, Jean Michele Jarre, and Tangerine Dream at the time and received worldwide airplay.  Re-emerging after a 30 plus year layoff to rise like a Phoenix.....
