Mollono.Bass tanzt in vielerlei Hinsicht aus der Reihe. Er schielt kaum auf aktuelle Trends, nutzt ungeniert alle Mittel der Klangerzeugung und schlägt so einen eindrucksvollen Spagat zwischen Tanzbarkeit und Tiefgang. Aber da ist noch etwas, das in seinen organischen Grooves mitschwingt und ihnen Leben einhaucht: Freundschaft. Die ist auf der ersten von insgesamt drei Auskopplungen zu seinem neuen Album nicht zu überhören. Die Freundschaft zu Seth Schwarz kommt in dessen virtuosem Violinspiel zum Ausdruck. Zusammen mit den dubbigen Beats und warmen Klangfarben von Mollono.Bass entsteht hier fließende Eleganz von geradezu symphonischem Ausmaß. Wunderbar harmonisch fügen sich auch die Gitarrenakkorde von Jörg Schwenzer zwischen die treibenden Rhythmen. The second part of the „Diorama“ remixes offers again some of the finest producers around. Starting with Kollektiv Turmstrasse! What kicks off as a Chez Damier groove makes the transition into a loose dub monster. Collecting traces of the original sound and dispersing them with magic movements we see why Kollektiv Turmstrasse are a top act. Shifting the attention from the front to the far back from the obvious to the abstract... Turmstrasse create that parallel groove on top of the groove which seems to tighten up with every minute. Fine particles of sounds are sprayed onto the relentless groove and make it a real crowd pleaser.

Super Flu – Musik 3

A British spaceship has to do an emergency landing in Halle. Professor Quatermass and his colleagues are able to locate the two astronauts Feliks Thielemann and Mathias Schwartz who are in a state of complete shock. There is nothing left but empty spacesuits after their fellow astronauts. However, they find the residues of a jellylike substance in their suits, and at the lab they discover that the substance is Musik 3. When checking the security tapes recovered from the space ship, the conclusion is that an alien life form has snuck on board, which is responsible for the disappearance of the two crewmembers.
