MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. 
Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.

Based somewhere down the industrial harbour of Rotterdam, the fresh started 'Self Reflektion' techno imprint has found its birth and presents its first release. The person responsible for starting the label is stranger, also going by the not-so-mysterious name of Mitchel Polderman in daily life. His debut release 'Warehouse Memoires' reflects his passion and interest for the 90's warehouse rave sound in various ways, all produced while living in a Warehouse down the docks of Rotterdam. 

Featured on the release are the original mix, a recording which can be marked as a 2014 stomping warehouse techno track. The 'UK Rave mix' probably speaks for itself, breakbeat influenced techno, 90's UK warehouse material. The US Revival mix takes you from Chicago to New York in 4 minutes, and closing off the release is the Bergweg mix - an additional DJ Tool for the oldschool hoover freaks.

It could also appeal to many filmmakers for soundtrack.Rum &amp; Drum (Christian Cambas Remix) is a little spookier than its original track. Playing with symbols to create a circular sound, Christian Cambas toys with muted audio tracks and synthesizers to add distortion. The intensity of the song hits its peak after clear human vocals are used, commanding the attention of the listener. With samples from hip hop artists, this song would be an especially great fit for dance clubs and radio. Techno Room begins with a throbbing bass. With its ¾ time, the listener gets the sensation of being on a train, its groove putting the listener into a relaxed, trancelike state.
