Live show, Stony Brook University Fall Fest Sept. 24, 1983. Broadcast on WUSB-FM live.

The band was from Long Island in the early 1980s. Big at Stony Brook University, as well as a home base out of Sparks in Huntington LI. FM radio airplay in 1983 on WBAB, WLIR, WUSB, and WNYU. Opened for Ramones numerous times that year.

In the '90s I was making a record in San Francisco and our producer met with Tom Hanks about possibly being the music director for a movie about a band.
He came back from his meeting with Tom and asked if we could write a song called That Thing You Do--it needed to be a 60's sounding song that was kind of an early Beatles ripoff.
I wrote this/our producer didn't get the gig /the guy who wrote the great song for the movie (Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne) ended up producing our band's final album for RCA/ now I'm an offshoot band with the guy (Mike Viola) who sang the song for the movie. What a chain of events.
