At age 15, I attended a concert in Omaha with my Brother Ivan Taylor, Jr and good friend, Tom Campbell. Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens performed, and I told myself, someday I'm going to play with those guys. 10 years later I was a Buckaroo playing drums on Hee Haw every week and had done package shows and / or recordings with Charlie and Merle and of course, Buck Owens. This is a version of a Classic Charlie Pride hit with Buck's unique style that we recorded in Bakersfield at Buck's Studios for a segment on Hee Haw featuring Buck and The Buckaroos. It doesn't get any Country'er than this.

Nightstreets "I GO TO PIECES"

Joyce "The Voice" Hawthorne is featured on this tune by Nightstreets. Jerry and I referred to it as the "Stalker Song" for obvious reasons. Recorded in 1981 and performed on the road tours for 2 years with Tammy Wynette's Band and George Jones's "The Jones Boys" as we opened their shows all over the country. 

Nightstreets "Try Me Again"

Joyce "The Voice" Hawthorne wrote and sang this love ballad. I love the harmony parts and Joyce is phenomenal on her lead vocal. I always thought this could have been a single. Recorded in 1981 or 1982.

Rehearsal tape recorded live no overdubs. Featuring Jim Shaw on piano on Floyd Cramer's hit On The Rebound from the 60's .
