My response was to record a mix to try and persuade them that Trance was not dead.

MRT - Changing Times

Back in 2007 some friends of mine decided to promote local talent by creating a parody of Global Underground.
"Local Underground" would promote artists from exotic area's from the North West of England, such as Darwen. 
Each release came with a write up and cover artwork in True GU style.
I had the pleasure of putting together a Trance mix representing Blackpool, in the fourth release LU in the series. 
To this day, this is still one of my favourite mixes, the artwork not so much. Enjoy!

Here's a recording from 2020 of my first attempt at using Traktor properly and experimenting with layering multiple tracks together.
I recently replaced my Pioneer DJM800 with a Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3, but had been using it as a standalone mixer, plugged into XDJ1000's.
I really enjoyed the freedom of the S4 and can see me phasing the XDJs out and fully converting to Traktor in the future.
