Catchy was born out of a creative spark between Mentesh and Landau during an impromptu studio session. What started as a casual meet-up quickly turned into a deep dive into grooves, textures and rhythm. Initially built around a vocal sample, the track took a sharp turn when Mentesh, caught in the flow, grabbed the mic and recorded an original vocal on the spot. That moment set the tone for the entire process: spontaneous, raw and instinct driven. From there, the duo locked into a focused workflow, layering ideas, sculpting the sound and testing the track in real club environments. Each tweak was a response to the dancefloor, a conversation with the crowd. After multiple iterations and refinements, Catchy emerged as a track that feels both effortless and engineered for movement, a hybrid of intuition and precision made to stick in your head and move your feet.

ID ID - Ninja Flavour

Originally from London (UK), Montreal based DJ and producer Rick Deacon has been mixing music and experimenting with music production since 2003.

His love for electronic music began around 1993 when he heard 2 Unlimited's Eurodance hit, No Limit. He was hooked on the repetitive beat and it changed his tastes in music overnight. In the late 90's he was exposed to more electronic music via it's popularity in the UK charts, and in 2003 he discovered the London music scene, which he promptly made his home and stomping ground, mainly listening to the sounds of Paul van Dyk and the other trance legends. It was around this time that he started mixing

In 2014 his interests in music turned towards the sounds of Progressive, Tech House and Techno, and in his own words, he felt like he'd discovered music all over again. 

Rick's main connection with music is taking listeners on journeys through his DJ mixes, which he has been making since 2003. He releases a monthly show called Four to the Floor Radio on SoundCloud. In addition to this he dabbles in music production and has releases on Bully Beatz, Re:Sound music and Aerotek Recordings, with more focus on productions coming in the future.
