My debut track after deciding to pursue my passion for music and performing at 40 years old.

To be able to reach this point, a mindset change needed to happen, a mindset free from fear to become who I am meant to be.

This track had around 80 different versions before my shift in mindset.

After my decision, I was forced to recreate it from scratch as my previous laptop was stolen (yup the universe at it's finest)

Now, this version was created with a "Free State" mindset, just sounds that were decided by my core (instincts)

This is "The Journey", where I mute all fears to become who I am meant to be and never look back.

Originally from London (UK), Montreal based Tech House / Techno DJ and producer Rick Deacon has been mixing music since 2003. 

He started out spinning Trance on vinyl, before moving to CD's and eventually software. In 2013 he discovered the sounds of Techno and Tech House, and in his own words, felt like he'd discovered underground music all over again. This new sound has stuck with him since.

Rick also produces music and has tracks released on Re:Sound music and Aerotek Recordings, with more currently being worked on.
