In late 2013 when putting plans together for 2014, never in our wildest dreams would we as a brand have expected a year like the one we have had, literally from day one in 2014 when we staged the 12 hour Hot Creations New Years Day party to a sold out MiNT Warehouse right up to our last sold out event at MiNT Club last week with Sante & Sidney Charles. 

In the duration of this given time we have brought to you the likes of Lee Foss, Miguell Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Russ Yallop, Denney, Josh Butler, Sidney Charles, Duke Dumont, Sante, SecondCity, Catz & Dogs, Darius Syrossian, Ben Pearce and last but by no means least MK.

After the huge debut of PRISM with Fur Coat (Crosstown Rebels), we are back with our second instalment on Saturday April 6th at Mint Warehouse with the arrival of Hot Creation's man of the moment RICHY AHMED.

Richy Ahmed is at the forefront of a new breed of British DJs, who are re-defining house music taking cues from disco, techno, funk and hip-hop.

Over the last year British house music has been through a renaissance with a whole new generation of DJs and producers like Robert James, Subb-an, Russ Yallop and Maya Jane Coles quickly making names for themselves. In the midst of this surge of homegrown talent is Richy Ahmed, Hot Natured resident and part of the Hot Creations inner circle. 

Richy has spent the last two summers cutting his teeth at some world’s best parties including, Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival, Sonar in Barcelona, The Nexus at Burning Man in the middle of the Nevada desert, Glastonbury Festival's 40th Anniversary, Kubicle’s legendary toilet parties in London and We Love at Space in Ibiza. Playing alongside some of house music’s biggest stars, Richy is regularly tipped as one to watch by the likes of Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, Clive Henry and Seth Troxler. 

Joined on the night by the now formidable PRISM residents, Matt Fear, Kreature, Luke Pompey and Rickie DH, with this given line up in this given venue PRISM truly has arrived.

Off the back of PRISM's massive second instalment at Mint Warehouse with Hot Creations man Richy Ahmed! We step it up yet another notch and bring the party to MiNT CLUB for a one off very special Bank Holiday Sunday May 5th party featuring the blistering hot Brazilian house DJ, HNQO (Hot Creations, Off Records).

In Curitiba, Brazil, the days are warm, and the nights are long. On the streets of this town, boys become men, and souls are both lost and found. No one knows this better than the artist known as HNQO. As a famed breakdancer in his youth, he went in search of himself, with little more than a dream and the voices of Kool Herc and Grandmaster Flash to guide him.
Before long, he was dexterously layering hi hats onto groovy house beats, and chopping hip--‐hop vocals with a soft but menacing touch. His music takes hold of you from collar to knee, with cheeky hooks and infectious rhythms. More than a musician, HNQO is an interpreter of the past, fusing elements of hip hop, jazz, and other genres into his very own style of deep house grooves.

Today HNQO (or Henrique as he is known to friends) is one of the fastest rising young stars in the deep house and indie dance scene. Years of hard work are already behind this young musician, who got his start throwing parties in Curitiba. Young people in search of new music horizons flocked to these gatherings, and eventually some of dance music’s hottest acts found themselves sharing the decks with this ever present, ever humble artist.

Thanks to these successes HNQO was discovered by the inimitable Russ Yallop, and his tracks are forthcoming on Hot Creations amongst other labels. Additionally, HNQO’s own imprint, Playperview, is seeing international success. Why? Because the energy and infectious joy of this young talent permeates everything he does, from his buoyant productions, full of underground and dancefloor appeal, to his bass shaking live sets.

HNQO brings funk, soul, and a full dose of realness to his musical prowess. With standout EPs behind him and a slew of hits yet to come, he stands ready to embrace the world.
Alongside the Hot Creations recruit are a host of Leeds finest; Luke Pompey, Will Crawshaw, Rickie DH, bringing you a fresh slab of sounds behind the PRISM takeover!
