He hails from the Capital City of Kansas, Topeka (aka) Top-City but reps the entire state of Kansas.. CEO and the first artist on Tornado Alley Entertainment..
Slick was raised in a single parent home with his mom and older brother. His mom, without choice, had to prepare him for the light & dark side of real life. With his unique mid-west/southern mixed sound, Slick began to test the waters of the rap game early 2000. Some of his influences are 2pac, Soulja Slim, and fellow Mid-West group, Crucial Conflict. Having little interest in working your traditional 9 to 5, it ultimately lead him down the path of hustling and gang affiliation that ended with a near fatal car accident. Slick was jolted into the realization that the streets was dragging him down. "It's what molded me to who I am today," he explained, "But this voice in my head kept saying focus or your music," Slick continues on by saying that "having street credit of a hustler or gang banger can only take you so far." So now deciding to focus on his music he wanted to bring more then just his personal street life experiences to his audience, and that's how Tornado Alley Entertainment emerged. Now every aspect of the performing arts world can be exposed through his lyrics and also by coloring everyone facing similar situations as him.
