To celebrate our 30th episode, we are very honoured to get a recommendation from a Dj that’s played a huge part in the house music scene for over 20 years and someone who’s had a massive influence on myself, house heads around the world, and the CD’s that we feature on this site

After a famous trip to ibiza in the late 80’s… Danny set up his legendary Shoom night in London, which kicked off the rave and acid house scene in the UK. He’s helped cement house music culture in Ibiza, being a key figure in it’s growth on the island. But many know Danny through his radio shows… where he started out at Kiss FM and went onto lead radio one's weekend roster alongside Pete Tong. His Love Groove Dance Party show was the soundtrack to many people's saturday nights and I speak on behalf of thousands, to say it was an pleasure and an education to tune in each and every weekend.

He's had countless mix cd's over the years, some of which we've already featured on the site. But today, he's recommended the Decade of Dance CD, mixed by himself and released on Circa records in 1999. As it represents his favourite tracks throughout the 90's and is full of the gorgeous vocals and feel good house music Danny is know for.

So thanks again for everything Mr. Rampling. We really can't thank you enough for giving us all the amazing music and memories over the years.

Mix ten follows on from where nine left off. It’s hot in here, we’re happy, everybody’s cool and the room is bouncing.

The legends that are Todd Terry, Martha Wash and Jocelyn Brown start us of on this one before we hit the Ark Anthem Mix of Cry India. Things stay funky and vocal as the classic You Make The World Go Round from Sandy B washes over us before we hit the huge instrumental tracks from the Mighty Dub Catz and Direckt.

Arman Van Helden adds a touch of class through Tori Amos and Nuyorican Soul before the crowd-pleasers I Believe and 3 Is Family do their job. Kenny Dope adds his usual flair with The Bucketheads. We then hit the ceiling with the Lisa Marie Experience before the treasured sound of Bits & Pieces takes us one step further.

Things get twangy and funky before we hear More Kante and then the superb mash-up of Turn Me Out by Kathy Brown and Passion by Gat Decor. Josh Wink takes us over the edge before we are rescued by the gospel sounds of Judy Cheeks and the uplifting anthems that are Love Come Rescue Me and I Get Lifted.

The Fatboy Comes Alive mix of I’m Alright by Stretch and Vern finishes proceedings off with a bang. All you got to do now is get back to your mates’ flat to continue the party...
