Next up on Toolroom Trax, we have an absolute burner of a record from powerhouse tech duo Frederick & Kusse with their latest release ‘Reverse The Order’. Those who follow Toolroom’s Trax imprint will already be familiar with Frederick & Kusse, the duo has consistently released heavy Tech House hitters on both labels as well as Amplified’s Saved Records and Etiquette. Along with appearances on This Is Toolroom 2020 & 2021 and Toolroom’s T2 Compilations and are quickly becoming a staple act to the #ToolroomFamily and ones to watch out for.

‘Reverse The Order’ is a slick mix of adrenaline infused bass grooves and a stomping House beat, layered buzzy synth plucks and stabs which add to the intensity of the track. Deep soulful house vocal samples drop throughout the record stating ‘God is getting ready to reverse order’, is you’re unsure as to what that means don’t panic, Frederick & Kusse have put their all into this earth-shaking banger, making it one hell of a Trax release.

'Kevin Knapp is back once again with essential house music and a vital mission. The third release on his own Plump Records is another full favour, club ready house offering that comes with the label's underlying aim of being fat positive, sex positive, queer positive, feminist and anti racist with a focus on centering underrepresented and marginalized voices.

Say So is a bristling cut with chopped up vocals and a fat bassline. Female voices add real attitude as this sleazy track draws you into the heart of the dance floor. RPS then jacks the party with razor sharp hi hats cutting up the slinky drums. Tightly knotted bass brings extra weight and the whole rugged tune is perfectly designed and expertly robust. Pay Off once again kicks like a mule, with a silky groove and cosmic keys exploding up top. It is raw but soulful, hard but big hearted, and is another dancefloor bomb.

Next up this summer on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records is a release that we have been super excited to share with you even since we were first sent it back in 2019 and we're delighted to now be able to release the 'Nonsifa' EP from label favourite Ruben Mandolini who teams up with Riky Ild and Uness to bring you his latest outing. 

A record that has been in high demand ever since label boss Nic Fanciulli championed it at his Dance Or Die parties back in Ibiza 2019, 'Nonsifa' has already been heavily supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Fisher, Piero Pirupa, Marco Faraone and many more; truly indicative of Ruben and Riky's signature sound, oozing hypnotic vocals, an irresistible bassline, heavyweight Tech House drums, bubbling percussion and a grooving low-end. 

Ruben closes out the EP with another collab track, this time featuring the vocals of Uness, 'Take No More' maintains the high levels of energy with mesmerising vocals, stomping, raw drums and a commanding bassline running throughout

Andre Salmon returns to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this November with his ‘Da’ Hot Nation & The Salmon Man’ EP, featuring Kricked, K-Mack, and Apollo 84.
Andre Salmon is one of house music’s hardest working artists, having featured on almost 100 releases this year alone while chalking up full EPs for the likes of Rawthentic, South of Saturn, and of course Hottrax. Recruiting an all-star team of collaborators for ‘Da’ Hot Nation & The Salmon Man’, Salmon calls up Slightly Sizzled Records boss Kricked, fellow Hottrax alumni K-Mack, and Twisted Fusion’s Apollo 84.
Opening cut ‘Da’ Hot Nation’ adds a modern twist to the sound of early 00’s breaks, with Salmon and Kricked deploying a rattling bassline and snappy drums to devastating effect, as springy yet subdued vocal chops splash between the percussion.
‘Salmon Man’ with K-Mack sees the pair assemble a grooving house track, sprinkled with dubbed-out hi-hats and effected vocals, rolling effortlessly through its peaks and troughs. Joining forces with Apollo 84 for the third and final track, ‘Black Poem, Black Me’ utilises creeping synth lines and chunky basslines to craft a seriously effective slice of house, perfectly rounding off the release.
