When you’re a producer as sensitively tuned into your environment as Robert Babicz, music production goes far deeper than basslines, drums and melodies.
 
‘The Owl and The Butterfly’, the final in the artist’s trilogy for Systematic Recording, is an album driven not by the science of music creation, but rather Babciz’s own deep connection, or ‘oneness’ with nature he experienced during walks through the Königsforest near his home in Cologne.
The resulting twenty-track opus is a seamless journey through the inimitable ‘Babiczstyle’ of house, techno and electronica; it’s edges polished smoothed, it’s basslines beating with an organic pulse, the album putting the listener at the core of his musical psyche, led first and foremost by feeling and instinct.

‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ 

Currently wowing Pacha, Ibiza with his new weekly residency, ‘Wisdom Of The Glove’ Guy Gerber has managed to coax only the most interesting artists such as Mathew Jonson, Four Tet and John Talabot deep into his surreal, otherworldly rabbit hole.

Not content with planning for the freshest Ibiza residency out there and embarking on an international tour taking in dates throughout Japan, South America and Europe, the Supplement Facts boss travelled through nine countries whilst creating an entirely original album purely on his Sennheisers.

‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ clocks in at just over an hour, demonstrating Guy Gerber’s flair for silky productions, deep soulful beats and bubbling basslines. More in common with an expert sculptor, Guy has long been renowned for his effortless production and detailed craftsmanship; none more on display than here, the achievement made even the more impressive by making original music whilst on the move.  

Hitting the UK for Krankbrother’s infamous Street Party on 22nd June with his own guest John Talabot, ‘Who’s Stalking Who?’ gives you just a taste of that biza magic that’ll be on show in London soon.

Ricky Valadez is an award-winning composer with a distinct and recognizable musical style that blends orchestral, cinematic and pop elements. The Berklee College of Music alumnus has composed and produced music through a broad spectrum ranging from electronic to pop to dramatic film music to classical. His music has been featured worldwide in commercials, musicals, feature films, and on television. In his music one can sense an unquenchable curiosity that seeks to discover the unexplored possibilities of music. He is passionately driven by the conviction that music can be a powerful force in advancing individuals towards their infinite potential. Ricky claims no original thoughts of his own, but attributes God as the sacred source from whom all invention and inspiration flow.
