This is the next instalment in the tale of Mike Fox and amazing lyricist Tony Harris , the nicest guy on the planet ! I may have overdone the harmonies , oops , see what you think . On the 25th is a mega production with lyrics by wonderful Andrea Brennan , vocals guitar and basic format by myself , but everything else by Axel Menningen , including production ! Then on the 1st of November is the 2nd outing for Dave Cooper and myself , closely followed by a song actually by myself for a change ! Loads waiting in the wings ! Thank you .

A new composition that came to me this morning. I started humming and singing this simple ,familiar melody which I have always found comforting and calming. Wrote up some lyrics to finish up the tune and here it is. If I was still playing live in front of audiences this tune would be a great way to end the show.

Kind of a not-very-remix of a track I heard on a Netflix documentary about the history of the Roland 808.  The original is cheesy as fuck, but there's something about the main chorus that I just had to sample.  So here it is...

As so often the case, I conducted a jam session in which I used a vast amount of sounds, settings and samples and recorded the stereo in Audacity, which I used in posts-production to extract the best parts from that jam session in order to create this track. As always, I only used basic audio editing techniques like simple crossfades. Only a touch of soft limiting and a high-pass filter were applied, no elaborate approaches like mastering were used whatsoever. Thus, the result is raw and highly dynamic in nature, so put your favourite headphones on and turn up that volume knob, because the Loudness War is for losers!
