This is the original video game soundtrack of "Death's Happy Hour", a game created for the 2024 GLOBAL GAME JAM.

The game was created in the Leiria, Portugal's Jam spot (sponsored by StartUp Leiria and NJDM - Núcleo de Jogos Digitais e Multimédia), and we were honored to be assigned "2ND PLACE" within our local jury! :) 

As it is with any video game, this one takes place within the "Underworld’s Bar", where Death, its bartender, has "to serve the most unusual clients and understand their tastes and preferences" (cited from the game's description).
And since the game takes place at a bar, a Jazzy-like soundtrack was found the most ideal for the tone of the game.

My try at something different, a synthwave song with a cyberpunk feel inspired by the world of the videogame "Massive Galaxy".
This song was uploaded originally some months ago as a demo and after the good reception it had I decided to finish it.
After talking to the developer of Massive Galaxy, he liked my song and it will now be part of the official soundtrack for the game.

Tried to reproduce the ambient electronic music used in documentaries about the human body, while giving it some more rhythm to make it sync with the gameplay style.
