Emerging from a long hiatus from my recording studio, I am thrilled to offer you this rich and energetic mix of bass, remixes, drum & bass, mashup, dubstep and mid-tempo house beats. I believe you folks are going to really enjoy this one, as I've had it on repeat for a while and it still sounds fresh and exciting. Turn up the volume and join me as we romp through chunky dance tracks, some new and some well known and loved.

I'd like to dedicate this to the many people who have been messaging me over the past few years, begging me to release new mixes. You know who you are! I can't tell you how loved and appreciated this has made me feel. I may not be famous, but it feels good to know that I have really dedicated fans. You are the best! Once Upon an Elder Moon

I first did this set live at PRICELESS. Where my computer started melting and so the set didn't go as planned. Then my friend k-luh hollered about A.I. Stem splitting, then I was due to miss a campout with friends so I recorded the set for them and added some fun new things i've been learning. This set was re-inspired and energetically amplified by the friends Jk-47's and Mischa's sets during priceless. Also I stole a towel. Sorry bout that. <3

I had a lot of fun piecing it together and even more fun playing it out. Here's to the heavy and the soft. The dark and the light. The weak and the strong. The right and the wrong.. For without each of these elements in our daily emotions, we have no texture. Without texture we are a flatline. This mix is my tribute to feeling all of these emotions, without any guilt, and to experience each moment as it is, in an embrace of acceptance. I threw this mix together with a select few of the latest and greatest tracks that keep the pumps n bumps in my lil' acorn heart a flowin'. Hey thanks for dropping by.  I was born in Barbados in the mid 70s and was raised in Toronto, and moved back and forth between the reggae, hiphop, and jungle scenes.  I moved to the west coast in the late 90s and spend most of my time rock climbing, snowboarding, downhill biking or making reggae influenced bass music.  I also teach highschool math and physics, enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding and dh biking.  I started making beats and performing using a combination of an old roland 303 and live hand drumming and soon progressed into vinyl DJing and electronic music production - starting with Propellerhead’s Rebirth and Reason until settling on Ableton Live.  Currently using an Access Virus TI, Elektron Rytm + Digitakt + Digitone.  I have been fortunate enough to put out original tunes on Earthday Recordings, East Van Digital, LW Recordings, Woodworking Records, Blackfox Records, Really Good Records, Squinty Bass Records, and Sheppard Records. I have also performed at a number of festivals in Canada: 
Diversity Festival (9 years), Basscoast (3 years), Shambhala (4 years), Squamish Live, SERF music fest (3 years), Fairies n' Fools, Entheos Festival, OM Festival, and the Believe Festival.

Regular club nights have included:
milk + honey: Lotus hotel (Vancouver Thursday nights), tokyo sound lounge (Montreal Friday nights), GLC (Whistler), Tommy Africa’s (Whistler).

Basic facts on Riddim: 
- into all things funky and melodic.
