a brief bio:
Born in Japan in 1985, grows up partly in Maryland, U.S, during her childhood, and learns English and singing through the Carpenters album her parents had.
While preparing portfolio for entering art school in the UK, she picked up a guitar from her brother, and came up with 30 demo songs a month, which caught the attention of Sony Music Japan and makes her debut in 2004. Enters Central St.Martins College of art and design the same year, and after experiencing recording sessions with great artists in London such as the members of the Pretenders, comes back to Japan to release more music and artwork.
Makes her own label&management “Rie fu inc.”in 2012, before releasing her 6th original album, “BIGGER PICTURE”, aspiring to deliver her music internationally, and to see a bigger picture.
