Roman Zawodny - Strike It (James Fusion Remix)

HØLEIGH delivers the 21st instalment of our FWP Series this week. The 
Warped resident has been contributing to Manchester’s darker side of dance for several years, but began to surface in late 2019 which saw her transition to techno, electro and trance. 

Prior to this, Høleigh has been collecting a broad range of UK dance styles, hardcore, hard house and 4x4 niche. Musical elements from these genres are echoed in her track selection. This evolution most likely accounts for the predilection of 140bpm+.  February saw Høleigh supply her brain dancing 140bpm sounds in a special b2b set with Concierge at the infamous Hidden Downtex Mill alongside electro heavyweights, Assembler Code and 96 Back.

Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, Høleigh’s intuition when performing resonates with dance floors and its punters, all of which stems from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing and using dj equipment innovatively.

Slam release the second volume of their new series Strange Dayz, strictly for Bandcamp.

Slam returns with the follow up to last month's ‘Strange Dayz’ project, the second instalment in their brand new series. Volume Two sees the duo ramp up the dark energy whilst keeping the positive vibes alive and flowing.  
    
‘We thought it would be great to do a series which was only available on Bandcamp, and wasn't readily available anywhere else’. ‘Kind of like in days gone by, where you had to go to a specific record store, because only they had the record’. Says McMillan.  ‘We want this to build up into a collectable series, and all the releases have a strong identifiable sound’ says Meikle.
