MuNyepi (which means Liar in Shona) is about the liar that we are to ourselves when we don't follow the purpose God put us on earth for. Upon observing the world around us we were influenced to speak out on the amount of 'fakeness' that is around us. The media set a standard to say if you weigh this much, or use this much make up, or speak in a certain way you're beautiful. Thats a lie! Even in your deep vernacular accent, even with your short, nappy hair, even without 6pacs or curves or silky smooth skin, even if you didn't go to school, even in your bare feet…you're BEAUTIFUL and there IS a purpose for which you are on this earth. 

MuNyepi is a song about someone who lies to themselves by NOT fulfilling that purpose; and its happened a lot that kids growing up are forced into careers they don't want by their parents…not that we want to start rebellion but truth is if you're an accountant and you KNOW in your heart you were meant to be a dancer, you're lying to YOURSELF. You are MuNyepi.
