Move It On

Woodwych are a three-piece folk rock band hailing from southern England. Martin Geer vocals and acoustic guitar, Paul Newing lead guitar and Steve Hiscock bass, drums, keyboards and backing vocals.

Indie rock band Riff Reign (North Notts/South Yorkshire) was established in 2014 to record material written by bassist David Wright.  Self-releases include nine full albums, a blues/rock EP, a retro rock EP and three Christmas singles.
David has his own indie/rock writing style, but his compositions stray into blues, country, jazz and retro pop rock.  His songwriting influences include Fleetwood Mac, Free and Graham Parker among many.  His main bass playing influences are Jack Bruce and Andy Fraser.

The band has had tracks played on BBC Introducing East Midlands and BBC Introducing Sheffield as well as being played on BBC East Midlands daytime shows during lockdowns.  David has had success in including tracks in a licensing contract with Heavy Hitters Music Group of Los Angeles, although nothing has yet been used.  One track 'Gotta Be A Reason' was played in RBS outlets. 

Band members are currently working with other musicians in a collective named ASSEMBLY.  An album was self-released in March 2023.
